Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Cevallos Academic & Advocacy Group collects through cevallos.org and during an engagement, how that information is used, and how long it is kept. The practice is run by Pedro F. Cevallos, Ed.D., who is the only person with access to client records.

Information you provide

When you submit a form on this site (an application, a document-review request, or a consultation request), the practice receives the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, the date of an upcoming school meeting, and any message you write.

If you become a client, you may also share your child's IEP, 504 plan, evaluations, and communications with the school district. These records often contain information about a child's disability, health, and education, and they are handled with that sensitivity in mind.

How documents are collected and stored

  • Please do not attach documents to any form on this site.

  • After an inquiry is accepted, you receive a link to a secure, access-restricted folder controlled by Dr. Cevallos. Documents are shared only through that folder.

  • Documents are deleted 90 days after an engagement ends, unless you ask for earlier deletion.

How information is used

Information is used only to respond to your inquiry, deliver the services you request, schedule meetings, and send invoices. With your permission, and only when your case requires it, relevant information may be shared with an outside evaluator, therapist, or attorney working on your child's behalf.

The practice does not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and does not use it for advertising.

Website hosting, forms, and cookies

This site is hosted on Squarespace, which processes form submissions and may set cookies needed to run the site and measure basic visitor traffic. Squarespace's own privacy policy governs how it handles that data.

Testimonials

Family testimonials are published only with written permission and without family or student names.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information the practice holds about you or your child at any time by emailing pedro@cevallos.org. Requests receive a personal reply within one business day.

Not legal representation

Educational advocacy through this practice is not legal representation, and communications with the practice are not covered by attorney-client privilege.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
