I work alongside families in IEP meetings, 504 plan reviews, school placement decisions, and disputes with schools or districts. I’ve spent close to three decades inside educational institutions, including curriculum leadership at Pearson and research on multilingual and diverse learner strategy. I know how these meetings are run from the other side of the table, and I use that to make sure your child’s needs are stated clearly, specifically, and in writing. This is educational advocacy, not legal representation.

FAQ

Do you replace an education attorney?

No. I work alongside attorneys when a case needs one, and I'll tell you directly if yours has reached that point. Most IEP and 504 disputes don't need a lawyer; they need a subject matter expert in the room who knows the process, won't let vague language stand, and is fluent in the language and processes of school districts.

Do you only work with Palm Beach County schools?

I'm based in Boca Raton and work most often with South Florida families, but I take select cases nationally depending on fit and availability.

How fast can you start?

Most families start with a flat-fee document review, which is the fastest way in and requires no retainer. If your meeting is imminent, say so when you request it; I prioritize time-sensitive cases.
